Hannah was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and spent 17 years there before moving to Ontario, Canada. She developed a passion for the arts at the age of fifteen, when she acted in her first play directed by her English teacher. After this, she decided to pursue a career in acting but struggled to convince her parents until she turned nineteen. While waiting for her parents to come around, sports became an important aspect of her life as she was very athletic. She decided to enrol in the acting program at the Toronto Film School and moved to Toronto in 2021.

During her time in TFS, Hannah has trained in the various aspects of acting such as voice acting, improv classes, stage play, auditioning and self-tapes and camera acting. She also had the opportunity to make a silent short film called “A woman’s love” and a thesis film called Therapy which were both written and directed by her. She also performed in a live performance of “A Christmas Carol.”

Following graduation, Hannah co-hosted the “Dream Come True Short Film Festival” at York University in 2024 and 2025. She hopes to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry, gain experience, and showcase her versatility as an actor and filmmaker, as she plans to start and run her own film production company. She hopes to show representation in her career as an African woman and inspire others to always chase their dreams.
