Isa Goldberg began her professional acting career in 2015 after a successful career in the newspaper business as a theater reporter and reviewer. She became Drama Desk President from 2010 through 2015, making her the second woman president in the organization's 70 years. After seeing four to five shows a week for years, Isa found her calling when she saw the late Jan Maxwell portraying a savvy Washington D.C. socialite in Lincoln Center's City of Conversation. ?

In addition to living and working in New York City, Isa and her wife of 40 years have been a part of creating a queer community of activists in Sag Harbor. She connected with people there who influenced social change – such as Edie Windsor and Edward Albee – who were an essential part of Sag Harbor’s LGBTQIA+ history and community.

When she’s not acting, Isa enjoys seeing theater, doing gyrotonics, and eating fried chicken.
